Hello and welcome to our creative land…

Ruchika Rajiv Chada
I am pleased to introduce myself as Ruchika and I welcome you to my blog. I hope you find my reviews interesting enough to follow this page regularly. I intend on using this page to give you regular updates about the movies and shows I find worth my while and vice versa.
Until March 2022 I was leading the stereotypical corporate life working in the shipping industry. Born in the early 80’s in Mumbai, the Indian city of dreams that is home to the Indian stock market and Bollywood. I was lucky to be born there but my parent’s had bigger aspirations. I was in 2 nd grade when we moved to Singapore which became my domicile until 2003. Thereafter, I relocated to Brisbane, Australia to pursue my undergraduate degree in University of Queensland. I graduated in 2005 and stayed on to work there in the shipping industry until 2008 which ended my remarkable stint in this amazing land Down Under. Some of the best moments of my life were spent in this place and I am eternally grateful for the amazing friends I have made and keep in regular touch with to date. In 2009, I stopped working and decided to pursue my post graduate masters in HR in a sincere hope to make a transition from the shipping industry. I pursued my masters within Singapore spent an amazing 1.5 years learning about HR. Unfortunately, I was unable to shift industries after I finished in 2011 and had no choice but to return to the Shipping industry albeit in a more interesting role in marketing / trade.
All was going well professionally, until the pandemic came along and presented this industry with a labyrinth of problems which one had to cope with for 2 years continuously. I would consider the life I currently lead more worthwhile compared to the stable position I held over 2 organizations in 10 years. Yes, there are certain days where I get bored and do not have colleagues sitting next to me to have a yarn over our problems in a complex industry. However, everything gets transformed after I watch a good series and start penning my thoughts about it. Really glad to have found my mojo.
Thank you for visiting and giving us your time. Looking forward to a great journey ahead!!
